Ph.D student position in Lattice QCD at Bielefeld University, German
We invite applications for a three-year Ph.D student position at the Theoretical High Energy Physics Group at Bielefeld University. The position is available within a DFG funded Emmy Noether-group on lattice quantum chromodynamics. The research of this group is focused on lattice QCD at finite density via strong coupling methods.
We are looking for candidates with a master degree in physics that have some expertise in quantum field theory and/or lattice gauge theory. Experience in programming and numerical methods will be favorable.
The appointment is available July 2016, with flexible starting date,for the duration of three years. Applications received until May 15th receive full consideration. Salary is based on 75% of German TVL-E13 for public sector employees.
